Paint Elmer the Elephant for the Elmer Parade with author and illustrator Fiona Lumbers!

For 10 weeks in the summer of 2019 a parade of 40 fabulously colourful and unique elephants will be on a wonderful trail around the beautiful city of Plymouth and surrounding areas.

Alongside Elmer, the much beloved children’s character by Devon born artist and author David McKee, there will be 40 further sculptures on parade; each featuring a unique design created by some amazing local artists, both well-known and emerging.

Author and illustrator Fiona Lumbers will be in the Harbour Bookshop in Kingsbridge creating and decorating one of the Elmer sculptures and we'd love you to join in!

Date: Saturday 18th May 2019!

Time: 10am - 1pm!

At the end of the summer each of the beautifully designed Elmers will be auctioned to raise funds for St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth, to enable them to continue to provide their outstanding compassionate care.
